It is with great pleasure that I have been elected unopposed to serve in the Presidential capacity for this prestigious organization ( Women chamber of commerce and IndustryLahore division). I am grateful of Allah and Dr. Shehla our mentor, inspiration and leader, Qaisra Sheikh and EC members considering me for this post. I feel proud of the roleWCCIL strongly play in supporting women businesses at all levels. I look forward to the upcoming challenges, opportunities regarding women businesses. During the period ofCOVID19 have learned that Good health is good for business. We will promote more alliances between WCCIL and health care sectors. Our campaign, advocacy for the reform of SME policy and the implementation of WSME policy idea initiated by Dr. Shehla. Our member can trust us to be their advocates for the solution of the issues that matter most to their businesses. Our work series of activities aimed at representing the best interest of women businesses and communities and ensuring the fundamentals of business environment. With all my office bearers and EC members will continue to work hard in right direction for the implementation of previous projects and intimate multitasking innovative projects for the empowerment of women, employment generation great contribution for the economy of Pakistan. My humble request to all our valuable members for their active participation in Chamber activities for feedback on your expectation of WCCI Lahore, comments and suggestions to our best performance. On behalf of PEER's sponsors at USAID, the National Academies are happy to announce that this year's cycle of PEER is now open and accepting proposals! PEER Cycle 9 has several new focus areas this year. In addition to the broad call for projects on any development-related research topic, the program welcomes calls in focus areas on advanced digital tools; family planning and reproductive health; the social, economic, and behavioral sciences. There are also several country-specific focus areas: urban WASH and transboundary water in Afghanistan, clean energy in Bangladesh, multiple research sectors in Tunisia, and bioremediation of dioxins and furans in Vietnam. Last year's cycle only supported projects of one year in length, but this year PEER Cycle 9 is once again inviting proposals for projects lasting two or three years, depending on the focus area.
