The Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Lahore Division (WCCIL) recently hosted an inspiring session titled “10 Successful Business Ideas 2025–2026”, showcasing innovative women-led business models that aspiring entrepreneurs can learn from, collaborate with, and replicate. The event celebrated the resilience, creativity, and growing influence of women entrepreneurs in strengthening Pakistan’s economy.
WCCIL was honored to welcome Ms. Sidra Jawaid from the Bank of Punjab (BoP) as the Chief Guest. Ms. Jawaid appreciated WCCIL’s continuous efforts in promoting financial inclusion for women, highlighting the importance of access to financial services in enabling women-led businesses to thrive. A special BoP segment was presented by Ms. Saadia Khalid, who introduced the women-managed Naaz Branches and BoP Exchange, reflecting the Bank of Punjab’s commitment to empowering women through innovative banking solutions.
The event was further enriched by the presence of distinguished guests and partners, including representatives from SMEDA, GIZ, IPO Pakistan, and Karvaan Crafts Foundation, who shared their insights and support for women entrepreneurs.
WCCIL leadership was also present, including Founder President Dr. Shehla Javed Akram, President Ms. Falahat Imran, Senior Vice President Ms. Faiza Nabeel, Vice President Dr. Raheela Akhtar, Former President Ms. Saba Mubarak, Consultant Mr. Sohaib Zafar, and Secretary General Ms. Iqra Shamim, along with other executive members.
