Bridging the Gender Divide | Empowering Futures through Financial & Digital Inclusion of Women 

The Women’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry Lahore (WCCIL), in collaboration with UNDP Pakistan, proudly hosted a high-level provincial consultation aimed at advancing women’s financial and digital inclusion, ensuring women are not just participants but leaders shaping Pakistan’s economic future.
We were honored to welcome Mr. Zafar Masud, President of the Bank of Punjab, as our Chief Guest, along with distinguished Guests of Honour including Muhammad Aman Ullah, Shumaila Jamil from UNDP, Anum Tariq from UNDP; Dr. Abiha (ITU), Dr. Uzma Qureshi VC (LCWU), Ahmed Khan (PSDF), Sidrah Humayun (UN Women), Jawad Malik (Education Department), Sohaib Zafar project manager (WRCI) , Ayub Ghauri CEO (NIC), Zarbaha (Golden Pearl), Ms. Rie Komahashi (JICA) and Mr. Shingo Kikuchi (JICA).
We were privileged to have Dr. Shehla Javed Akram, Founder of WCCIL, who shared an inspiring action plan to drive women’s empowerment through tangible solutions.
Ms. Falahat Imran, President of WCCIL, reaffirmed our chamber’s unwavering commitment to creating an inclusive and enabling environment for women entrepreneurs.
Ms. Faiza Nabeel, Senior Vice President of WCCIL, also graced the event, emphasizing the need for continuous collaboration and capacity building for women-led businesses.
