Founder WCCI Dr. Shehla Javed Akram attended an event organized by Social Welfare to “Honor the Athletes of Special Olympics”. Chief Guest Governer of Punjab Ms. Muhammad Baligh Ur Rehman and his wife Ms. Ayesha Baligh Ur Rehman with our Founder Dr. Shehla Javed attended the event as Guests of Honor. DG Social Welfare Ms. Mudassir Riaz and Health Minister Prof. Dr. Javed Akram and DG Social Welfare Ms. Mudassir Riaz hosted the event. The celebration ceremony was arranged at the Governor’s House, Lahore. The special athletes participated in the “Special Olympics World Games 2023” in Berlin, Germany, and made Pakistan proud by winning 83 medals at the Olympics.
