The Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Lahore Division (WCCIL) recently hosted Mr. Piracha, Consultant at EDF, along with Ms. Nadia, who visited the chamber to brief members on newly introduced special clauses designed to support women entrepreneurs and women chambers. The session was informative, impactful, and centered on empowering women-led businesses by expanding opportunities for growth and representation.
The meeting was attended by a distinguished WCCIL leadership team, including Founder President Dr. Shehla Javed Akram, President Ms. Falahat Imran, Senior Vice President Ms. Faiza Nabeel, Vice President Dr. Raheela Akhtar, Former President Ms. Shazia Suleman, and Executive Members Ms. Shumaila Naqvi and Ms. Saima Iqbal. The session also welcomed WRCI incubatees, Consultant Mr. Sohaib Zafar, WRCI Trainer Mr. Awais Bin Mehtab, and WRCI IT & Digital Marketing Expert Ms. Fatima Khurram, reflecting the broad participation of women entrepreneurs and support teams.
The briefing focused on the newly added clauses that aim to strengthen the support framework for women-led enterprises and women chambers. Participants discussed how these clauses can enhance access to resources, encourage innovation, and create more opportunities for women entrepreneurs to thrive in the competitive business landscape.
