A powerful and transformative dialogue on Future Skills—with a focus on Artificial Intelligence, Digital Forensics, and Cybersecurity—was recently held at NIC Lahore. Moderated by Sam Dada, Founder of Crossing Barrier, the session was organized by the Centre for Digital Literacy & Business Management and the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, in collaboration with NIC Lahore and Crossing Barrier as the Knowledge Partner.
The session highlighted the urgent need for youth to acquire advanced digital skills, especially as Pakistan’s digital economy is projected to reach $30 billion by 2030. Special representatives of the PM Youth Programme, including Maha Jamil, Rizwan Anwar Virk, and Ayub Ghauri (President, NIC Lahore), emphasized the rising demand for skilled talent as global AI and cybersecurity markets grow at unprecedented rates.
WCCIL President Ms. Falahat Imran proudly participated in this national initiative, reaffirming WCCIL’s commitment to empowering youth—particularly young women—through digital literacy, future-ready skills, and gender-inclusive opportunities in emerging tech sectors.
WCCIL continues to support programs that foster innovation, strengthen capacity, and prepare the next generation for advanced digital careers, ensuring that women are actively included in Pakistan’s digital transformation journey.
