Senior Vice President Ms. Faiza Nabeel represented the Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Lahore Division (WCCIL) at a session organized by the Drug Advisory Training Hub, reaffirming WCCIL’s commitment to social wellbeing, youth protection, and women’s empowerment.
During the session, Consultant Anti-Narcotics Campaign Mr. Syed Zulfiqar Hussain, Vice Chairman Mr. Syed Mohsin, and In-Charge Education Wing, City Traffic Police Lahore Ms. Faheeda Zeeshan briefed Ms. Nabeel on their ongoing initiatives to combat drug abuse—particularly among women and youth. The discussion also highlighted efforts focused on skill development, rehabilitation, and social reintegration of affected individuals and families, with special emphasis on empowering women through awareness and capacity-building programs.
The growing challenge of drug abuse poses a serious threat to society, impacting not only the younger generation but also women and families at large. Addressing this issue requires collective action, sustained awareness campaigns, and strong preventive strategies to safeguard communities and future generations.
