The Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry Lahore Division (WCCIL) marked a significant milestone in its journey toward women’s economic empowerment with the inauguration of the Women Resource & Community Incubator (WRCI) 2025. This landmark initiative has been launched to strengthen, mentor, and support women-led enterprises, providing them with the resources and guidance needed to grow sustainably.
The inauguration ceremony was honored by the presence of Captain Mr. Iqbal Ahmed, Chairman High-Q Pharmaceuticals, whose continued support for entrepreneurship and industry development added great value to the occasion. The event was further distinguished by the participation of Founder President WCCIL, Dr. Shehla Javaid Akram, whose visionary leadership and long-standing commitment to empowering women entrepreneurs continues to shape WCCIL’s impactful initiatives.
During the ceremony, Ms. Fatima, representing IT and Social Media Marketing & Training (SMMT), presented a comprehensive overview of WRCI, outlining its mission, objectives, and future direction. The presentation highlighted how the incubator will serve as a collaborative platform for capacity building, innovation, mentorship, and market access for women entrepreneurs.
A key highlight of the event was the inspiring showcase by WRCI incubates, including Ms. Tahira (Gultaaz), Ms. Fouzia (Grannis Kitchen), and Ms. Bushra (Baazyaft).
